The Queen B* and the Homecoming King by Crista McHugh

4.0

Today I am sad.

No not because The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) was a bad story; far from it. In fact, it was really, really good. I am sad because I have no more books left in the Queen B* series to read.

In the latest Queen B* adventures Alexis and Brett face new dilemmas; they have moved on from the Summer drama. However, their latest challenge may prove the hardest yet to overcome.

Ok, to be honest, this third book was probably my least favourite out of the three books. I still loved it and I still got completely sucked into the world of Eastline High but I think The Queen B* and the Homecoming King was a much slower paced in comparison to the two previous books. I think this is helped by the fact that Alexis has softened. She isn’t as constantly angsty has she has been in the other books. The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) is a brilliant read but I didn’t feel in as much of a rush to find out what happened next.

Somewhat ironically I am now chomping at the bit to find out what happens now. Will Alexis and Brett come to some mutual agreement concerning college? Will Morgan reveal the truth to her parents? What will Alexis’s mom’s wedding be like? And will Brett and Alexis ever do it? Who knows? The ball is in your court Crista McHugh. We want more Queen B*!

The Queen B* and the Homecoming King (The Queen B* #3) by Crista McHugh is available now.
