The Nowhere Emporium, by Ross MacKenzie

4.0

The Nowhere Emporium was a book I chose on my never ending hunt to replicate the feeling The Night Circus gave me. I really liked it! There were several similarities between The Night Circus and The Nowhere Emporium; magical challenge, using a book to create magical rooms, having a person tied to the magic of the magical place, and I'm sure there are some I am not thinking of. Even though it was middle grade it didn't decrease my enjoyment of the book. I am glad this is the 1st of a series and am looking forward to more of the magic in the next books. 4.5*
