To say the least, I love the Bridgertons.
So Daphne's story was cute and all but I am obsessed with Anthony. I read these because I knew Netflix was coming out with a season based on the first book but this one had better get its own season too! Yes, the plot is predictable but you should have known that going into this; it's a romance for god's sake. Anyway, I am obsessed with Kate (her character development really resonated with me being the not as attractive older sister and all).
The only thing I would say takes away from this book is the honest stupidity of Anthony's arguments. He says he can't get married because he's going to die at 30? Like what? Of course he's not going to die and in addition marrying without love is just a waste of time. Why get married at all then? Regardless, Anthony is still a Bridgerton and I love a good family man so it'll slide.
//OVERALL, this was a really quick read! There's also plenty more where it came from because there's 8 of these books (8 siblings duh).
