As long as this book was, I really had a great time reading it. I watched the movies first (I know, big mistake), and wow, the differences greatly outweigh the similarities. It's almost like the producers and directors didn't even bother reading the book. They just read the wikipedia synopsis and ran with it. The book is remarkably better than the movies. It took me exactly one week to read, and I enjoyed every minute of it. You feel every single emotion of every single character--even It! Stephen King is the king of horror, of that I am sure.
