Yona of the Dawn is an exceptional political fantasy. Volume 8 provides a peek into what Su-won has been up to since Yona ran away from the palace. We get a peek into his life and how he is traveling around to other kingdoms. This provides the perfect opportunity to also introduce the Earth kingdom and their leader. One of the things I really appreciate about this series is how the mangaka creates such well fleshed out characters. It's clear that she takes the time to develop everyone from the antagonists to side characters.
