Touching the Void: The True Story of One Man's Miraculous Survival by Joe Simpson

adventurous tense fast-paced

4.0

I was surprised by how short this book was, but after reading it, it felt like a good length. The book is well-written and really interesting. Like other mountaineering books I struggled to follow what was happening because I don't understand mountaineering terms and can't picture what's happening in my head. However, that is a me thing and not an author thing. I like that Simpson included excerpts from Yates' experience since that offered a lot of fascinating insight.
