The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

2.0

First time I've read this book it was a mandatory high school reading and I don't remember much from it. This time around this book was a part of a book club reading assignment.
I really did not like reading it again. The whole reading process felt like a terrible chore. I disliked the authors writing style and the decadence of it. What really bothered me more were authors ideas in this book that just did not sit well with me. The whole thing started with the introduction into the book and the information on the author.
Somehow the many adaptations of The Picture of Dorian Gray made much more sense and were more appealing to me than the original book...
