A hilarious adult graphic novel from the author of Snapdragon (famously one of my absolute favorite children's graphic novels)! Three mermaids accidentally become literal fish out of water when they drunkenly decide to go on land...without knowing how to get back. There's fun adventures, found family, learning how to fit in, and in Kat Leyh fashion some really excellent casual queerness. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun summer graphic novel!
Graphic: Alcohol
Minor: Body shaming
The bodyshaming is a super brief aside comment made by an unnamed character towards one of the three MCs, who is unbothered by the comment, and actually culturally confused by it since mermaids don't seem to have the same shame around fatness/bodyshaming in that way.
