As with her first novel, The Sanatorium, Sarah Pearse has written an atmospheric thriller that kept me turning the pages all day long to the detriment of my to-do list.
It’s unusual for me to pick up a thriller but I really like the detective, Elin Warner, and this book is not just a whodunnit but a character study.
With questions left to be answered, really looking forward to the next instalment.
