Adoring Abigail by Chalon Linton

4.0

Loved this story about the importance of being loved for who you are and overlooking minor flaws to see the best in a person. I loved Abigail, an intelligent beautiful woman who has an unfortunate speech impediment. I also loved Robert Wilkins who has inherited his aunt's estate after retiring from being a Captain in the military.

Robert falls for Abigail the first time he meets her. He doesn't even notice her speech impediment and treats her as the intelligent woman she is. Abigail is in awe of the handsome new heir and appreciates how he treats her and how calm she feels in his presence. Her grandmother whom she lives with constantly treats her with disdain and is ashamed of her speech impediment. She is determined to have her wed to the handsome vicar who only sees her beauty, but Abigail wonders if she has a shot at the handsome Mr. Wilkins.

Such a great romance! I look forward to reading more by this author!
