AHHHHH!!!!!! madeline miller is a god. i always enjoy her retellings of mythologies and i feel that she does a good job at developing them in her own unique way! i loved how she characterized circe as she took us along her journey of self discovery and empowerment, and i could feel myself relating to certain aspects of circe throughout the story. that last chapter was honestly just soooo *chef’s kiss* everything about it was the perfect way to end off circe’s arc, in my opinion. i’m really looking forward to her next retelling if she decides to release one!
