Anne Boleyn: 500 Years of Lies by Hayley Nolan

5.0

Incredible. Though I rarely find myself desiring to read nonfiction works, I had always been intrigued by the story of Anne Boelyn as a teenager. Nolan's research has managed to turn what otherwise seemed a fairytale into a realistic look into what could have been.. what likely was. Incredibly relevant in today's times, and never shying away from calling out the sexism and mysogeny of the "popular" spin on the story of Anne's life, I would highly recommend this book to any and all of my friends.
