A bit slow in the beginning but after the middle of the novel the pacing gets better especially after Lila and LenĂº gave birth to their daughters. One could think Lila's and Elena's story would repeat itself with their two girls (Lila's daughter is even named after her best friend's doll 'Tina') but alas ... nope this is not gonna happen. Prepare yourself to have a lot of questions still left open at the end and loose ends rather unravelled than neatly tied up though!
