These books are a guilty pleasure. I remind myself of that as I’m reading otherwise it might wear on me a bit when things like rape, murder, and war get glossed over rather quickly. I like the storyline that a Princess can go off and do relief work and fall in love. I like reading about fancy places in Europe. I don’t like the repetitiveness, we all get that she’s a good girl, and will perform her duties. The ending felt rushed, but everything was all wrapped up in the end!
