I went into this book already knowing the story of the Iliad, thinking I was prepared for the ending and I'd just be reading a cute romantic retelling. I was absolutely not prepared, in the best way possible.
I absolutely fell in love with these characters and their love story, to the point where I was crying throughout the last two chapters. The writing is gorgeous, the foreshadowing hurts in the best way possible.
Overall just a beautifully executed book.
