Extremely well written, the author is an expert in delaying crucial information. However, it becomes a slight problem (especially during the first third of the book) when one has to reread passages in order to discover which period you are now. Relevant headings would be appreciated. First time I read a book about the 2nd world war from an Italian perspective.
