The Mortal Instruments is probably going to be that series where if you ask me in person, I'll deny enjoying it but I will gladly rub it against my bosom repeatedly while I'm home alone, sobbing through my over dramatic feelings about it.

Pretty much everything I felt about City of Bones applies to this one as well. It kept a great pace despite its length that kept me interested all the way through and the ending really makes me want to jump right into the next one.

Overall, not perfect but still pretty awesome. There's still potential for it to turn into a shitshow, but it hasn't yet. For that, I raise my glass to it.
