Agree with other comments that this reads more like a diary or personal record for Stevenson herself that ended up being published. It's very surface level and alludes to things rather than naming or describing them. I don't follow Stevenson's life closely so I didn't usually know what project/event she was talking in vague terms about.

I do enjoy her illustration style and there are good themes/messages in the book, but for a memoir this lacked a sense of depth/personality.
