The writing and plot were phenomenal...BUT the heroine ruined the whole book for me. She uses the hero as a rebound leaves him hanging right AFTER sex because her EX who cheated on her called. Years later...Hero is dedicated to her...but yet again..SHE leaves and chooses her business over him. What made me DNF was the fact that she messed up but the author made the hero chase after her with a big gesture. She never once apologized even though she felt guilty for leaving him the ways he did.
