Doctor Who: The Anti-Hero by Stella Duffy

4.0

I received a copy of this book by the book's publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Another lovely short story which is part of the Doctor Who 'Time Trips' collection. The Second Doctor takes a trip with Zoe and Jamie to the Museaum of Alexandria. But everything isn't quite as it seems....

With Muses, Hero, recorders, hippopotamuses and a bit of mythology Doctor Who style, you can't go wrong. It's a very short story and as a result it's quite pacey so keeps you hooked throughout. It's also quite funny, at times even the Doctor is on the floor laughing.

Definitely a fun story, but one that could have been longer as there's so much content. However, keeping it short meant it was great for reading quickly and enjoying.

A fantastically fun Second Doctor story with a nice historical setting and great characterisation. Definitely one of the better of the 'Time Trips' collection and an enjoyable addition.
