Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

5.0

very very video game heavy, i love the implementation of the video games because it helps put the story together in a different way i normally would
the switching of povs were a bit hard to follow and i had to reread a couple parts
i finished the book in one day, took about 4-5 hours of reaidng
the elements of being raised as an asian and in familiar areas made this book easier to understand
i felt empathetic to all the characters for different reasons, for marx not being a designer but still being helpful, for sadie for bearing a lot on herself and being a female and having imposter syndrome, for sam not being able to speak up for himself
i would reread this because i read on a computer and i know that there are elements i probably missed

you have died of dysentry
“What is a game?” Marx said. “It’s tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. It’s the possibility of infinite rebirth, infinite redemption. The idea that if you keep playing, you could win. No loss is permanent, because nothing is permanent, ever.”
