This short story follows Reagan, the grumpy roommate from fangirl, and her grandfather's neighbor Mason on two Christmas interactions. Be warned, this boom is set primarily in 2020 and there is a lot of talk about the pandemic. I guess I've finally reached a place where I can read about that time without feeling anxious. I definitely remember feeling exactly how these characters felt, and being mostly on the other side it doesn't feel real. I can't say too much about the story since it's so brief, but it was decent. I would have liked a bit more build up, but it was ok.
