What a thrilling and perfect ending to this duology. This book was action-packed! Miranda, being the bad-ass she is, fighting off all the immortal gods she unintentionally set free. I love an independent, powerful female protagonisti! Xander is such a simp for Miranda. 😂
For chapters, I was entirely enthralled in the teasing tension of their building relationship. There is humor and playful banter, 'you're mine', 'touch her and die' basically everything you could want from a romance. This book really portrayed ptsd and mental health concerns from its characters in a relatable and empathetic way. I love the way this book duo wrapped up so naturally. I will definitely be recommending these books to all my friends!
