The Hundred Loves of Juliet by Evelyn Skye

5.0

What a devastatingly romantic, heartbreaking, passionate, sweet book. A visionary retelling of Romeo and Juliet, this book made me swoon a thousand times over. The absolute devotion of Sebastian to Helene was something only dreams are made of.

While the plot and characters had me invested, the writing style was also fun, quick and interesting. The whole story was incredibly fast-paced, and I loved the flow of piecing together the present with segments from the past. Also, I will always, always love getting romance stories from the guy’s POV. And man, this delivered.

I honestly thought this would just be a quick romance read for February. Little did I know how much I would absolutely fall in love with this book. Is it perfect? No. But is it beautiful, raw, dreamy, romantic and charming? One hundred percent yes. ❤️‍
