One Wrong Move by Dani Pettrey

4.0

Taunting riddles.
A deadly string of heists.
Two broken hearts trapped in a killer's game.

Dani Pettrey delivers a thrilling, mind-bending new release set in the deserts of New Mexico that captivated me from the very beginning. With immediate, intense action scenes and the taunting threat of danger lurking around every corner, readers will find themselves devouring the pages!

I enjoyed the premise and plot built around precious artifact heists. It was new, exciting and presented in a high-stakes way that kept me invested in this story. The many twists, turns and surprises kept me guessing and intrigued.

Both Christian and Andi are fantastic main characters with broken pasts that they have overcome, making them relatable and enjoyable. Like her previous books, Pettrey has built a team of friends and family around them with unique specialties that each lend a unique quality to this story. I love how down-to-earth the characters were and the romances blossoming in this story were perfectly swoon-worthy with several great scenes!

Overall, this was an exciting read that offered a unique POV into the world of heists and FBI evidence logging. If you love stories with suspense, romance, a strong faith thread and daring, capable characters, you'll love this novel!
