The Golden Couple by Sarah Pekkanen, Greer Hendricks

4.0

This book had me at the word “therapy.” I’m a huge advocate for it and thought it would be fun to read a thrilling novel that is based on the idea surrounding counseling. It did not disappoint!

What I loved:
▫️quick paced
▫️short chapters
▫️untrustworthy characters
▫️multiple POVs
▫️little nuggets of information that constantly changed your perspective and created many twists

This book arrived in my lap just in time. I could tell that I was approaching a reading slump and this one energized me. It didn’t feel like anything I’ve read before (& trust me… I’ve read a ton of thriller/mysteries). I was cruising through it and anxiously anticipated when I’d be able to pick it up again.

I only gave it 4 stars and I am saving the 5 stars for those books that live rent free in my mind. This was thrilling and captivating but not quite that level for me!
