I loved the film so really tried to like the book, but it wasn’t for me. It could have been about half the length and it would have been a lot better. The ending felt very flat and anticlimactic after the build up of the whole book:( I mainly just felt really sorry for Rosie for most of it, she had a bit of a rubbish life.

Also I’m sorry but both of their friends give awful advice

ruby telling Rosie not to go for the job and then being shocked and being like ‘why’ when she doesn’t???
