I bought this book because it is the prettiest hardcover I’ve ever seen and was pleasantly surprised to find that the book was actually really good. Well realized and developed characters with a good mix of action and development. I really liked how other characters called out Clara’s bullshit. Interesting magic system. I thought that the grief was very well handled as well.
