Dr. Meerah has done a brilliant job of spotlighting the necessity for abortion through exploring the lives of women from many backgrounds. A truly impactful and important read for anyone.
It’s heartbreaking to hear how the American healthcare and political system is so against abortion and, as such, does not provide adequate support for any people with a uterus. Knowing what has since happened with Roe vs Wade being overturned makes this even harder to stomach.
My heart goes out to those around the world struggling to gain the proper healthcare and assistance they need during an already difficult time in their lives.
