Revival by S. Usher Evans

5.0

Evans has come out to be one of my favorite authors she knows how to get you invested in her story and the characters she creates. After finishing the first book I couldn't wait to delve into the second book to continue to find out what happened to our trio and Evans doesn't disappoint. It does seem to start off just a tad slow the pacing does pick up and you see Jack develop from that man afraid to do anything because he doesn't want to mess up to realizing he has a purpose once again. Anya starts to learn more about herself and life outside the shadow of Bael which is wonderful to see. Cam isn't as front and center as she was in the first book but she does have some pages where she shines.

And of course that ending when you think everyone is getting their crap together Evans throws us for a loop! Do yourself a favor and pick this series up you will not be disappointed.
