The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

I had to DNF. I had a horrible grad school experience in biology and while I would have appreciated the fellowship of reading about someone who struggled in it, I can't do the professor relationship and I don't currently want to revisit the immense feelings of inadequacy and insecurity that come with being a grad student, among other things I experienced.

And after reading some of the reviews, I'm not interested in reading about a possibly demisexual girl who see herself as not normal and weird etc when there is so little demi rep as it is, and asexuality is far too underrepresented and misunderstood. It feels like a slap in the face to the community and just reinforces some pretty crappy stereotypes.

Will I ever try to read this again? Probably not. My mistake.
