If I had to pick one word to describe this book, it would be meh. I honestly did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I felt like many of the situations and solutions were based on coincidence and chance.
Spoiler: I mean a platform suddenly catches them right as they fell out of Terms and Conditions.
Kara just happens to have gotten "control over dragons" the day before so they could ride the dragon.
It was just a 1 in 100,000 chance that the one person who has read all of Terms and Conditions and knows everything there is to know about HIVE manages to escape, but the "back door" that he just so happens to find is blocked by a wall of Drones so they can't escape.
And Kara somehow bought the only pair of boots in the store that looked exactly like hers and had a message for from her mom on the inside.
It was all very unlikely. I mean come on!
Also, there was no clear big reveal. I thought it was going to be something actually exciting, but it turned out everything was real, not a simulation or a dream or Kara going crazy like you may have expected. Very boring. Do NOT recommend.
