Only For The Week is a 244 page gold mine which will live rent free in my head forever!!
Let me explain.
Janelle is a doctor who has a dream of opening her own clinic. She loves her job, her parents, her sister and her friends. The story begins with Janelle making plans for her sister, Amerie’s, wedding - Janelle is the maid of honour. One thing though Amerie is marrying Janelle’s ex boyfriend Arnold. 👀
Arnold’s best friend, Rome (hey boo 😘) has met Janelle a couple of times but now here there are and they stumbled upon friends with benefits for a week. *fans oneself*
Natasha Bishop!!! I love everything about this book. I am a romance girlie and you had me hooked from Chapter 1. Full disclosure: I had to revise my book boyfriend list as Rome sailed straight to #1 and stole my heart.
Guys I read 20% of this book one day and the next day while on a plane, I finished this book:
🍃I was laughing at the funny parts, the person on the plane sitting to my left and right got use very early to me laughing.
🍃I was blushing at the spice and loved every minute of it, not even embarrassed if anyone read the lines on my kindle as I read this book
🍃 I love all the supporting characters. I’m ready for a series Natasha - I want a book about Evie, one about Dani, one about Micah - man I even want a book about hard mout Christian 🤣
🍃 The book was told from Janelle & Rome’s point of view. I loved their grown ass behavior - from the decision to spend time together to the discussion about family and brokenness and the bookclub. Look I’m smiling right now.
If you’re looking for that romance that shows how great it is to risk on love, read this.
This one is for my romance girlies and guys!
PS: There’s a music playlist the author shared with us and I created in my @applemusic feel free to check it out (look for Dawnlee).
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Natasha
