A gentle story about learning about your past - but told in an ingenious way through time travel. Time travel where you can only go into your past and not actually change anything - you may change how something happened but it still will have happened.
And this how Terrence learns, at 45, that his long time friend Sean really is his love of his life - but no matter how many times he tries, he can not speed up the process of when they get together.
Gentle humour, nice look back at sytles and attitudes. Yes, there is the ring/wring issue but generally a fairly good pacy story with enjoyable characters. I do enjoy the authors humorous stories.
