So aggravating to read. this book has great bones! an interesting magic system, a compelling romance dynamic, plot twists, reveals. the execution is just clumsy. in the last 75ish pages it picks up, but you'll find both the action and the romance throughout to be lackluster (or infuriating, which i did)
