I was a little weary going into this collection, just because I don't have the *best* luck with novels written by celebrities/musicians/public figures, but I absolutely adored this. It was so raw and emotional, and I felt as though I could really connect with her. Each and every poem is a standout in its own right, but I highly recommend everyone read A Story Like Mine.
