Fun continuation of the series, but very similar in plot structure to the first book. Shay’s character continues to be done totally dirty imo. I was able to get behind the new love interest narrative in this book way more than the first book.

Didn’t love the way both disordered eating and self harm were used as plot devices, between the main characters starving themselves for weeks to become as skinny as possible for their brilliant escape plan, and the sub plot of a whole group of teens who take pride in cutting themselves to feel more alive
