Lately, I've been very much into Zombie movies and books that have apocalyptical themes. So, I was quite excited to start reading this book. Planet Dead ticked all the right boxes for me, with all its elements. It has everything you want from a book with zombies. Catherine, our protagonist, is a badass woman who defeats a lot of zombies as she hunts down her family. She is a very different protagonist than what I am used to, mainly because her thought process is quite intense and ruthless. So, reading from her POV was quite interesting for me. The other characters were pretty interesting too, but I enjoyed reading from Catherine's POV the most. There were certain parts though, where I felt a little bit confused as to what was going on with the plot and things moved a little too fast for my taste, but all in all, Planet Dead was a pretty great read and I enjoyed it a lot.
