A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes was one of my favorite reads of August. It’s one of those books that I didn’t want to end - I just wanted to keep hearing about the characters and existing in that world. If you enjoy mythology retellings especially focused on women’s stories, you’ll love this book. Natalie Haynes is an amazing narrator (she’s a radio broadcaster so it’s no surprise) so I highly recommend the audiobook. I’m so excited for her next book, Stone Blind, which comes out later this month! I’ve already pre-ordered Stone Blind, and I’ll need to get a copy of A Thousand Ships at some point as well because a book this good needs to be on my shelf!
