The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies by Alison Goodman

4.0

Really enjoyable - I enjoyed the age of the spinster FMC/narrator and the book (and the author) were really working on coming to grips with some of the less savory aspects of the regency period, rather than the usual bowdlerized romancelandia version of the regency. A hint of romance, and some good short mysteries - I really can't wait for the sequel.
