Omg what an amazing book!!!! This story is always sold as a war story but it’s really so much more than that. This is a heartfelt and heartbreaking story about love. Love between mother and son. Love between husband and wife. Love between community members. Love. I want to read this book all over again and again. Came for the war and fantasy, staying for the characters.
