The Sandman, Vol. 2: The Doll's House, by Neil Gaiman

4.0

Sandman (8) and 9 ~ 16.

In this arc we meet more of gloomy ol' Dream's family (of course that's who Death is!), and get an interesting story that ties back to some characters from the first arc.

A couple of related but self-contained stories are also in there, and they stand out from but also add to the whole.

Still super dark at times (avoid cereal conventions), the art is often rough but had some iconic moments. An overall improvement on the first story arc, which has made me more invested in the world.
