Nona the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

listen I low key hated the first half of the book for how much of a slog it was, but I kept running on the the potential for even a mere a glimpse of Gideon, and the second half delivered, so I am more than satisfied. it was kind of amazing actually.
All that being said, I wish Tamsyn Muir would reign it in a bit with with the ableist language. This aspect of the books will really not age well.

Moderate: Ableism
Very insistent use of ableist language throughout the book.
