I'm not really sure what to write here.... Wow... just wow.
This story was epic, completely well rounded, with well developed, believable characters, and well put together plot. I felt connection with all the main characters (and wanted to stab one in the eye with a spork, and swish brains around).
I was totally engaged and invested in this story. I finished it feeling the story was complete, but could be updated at a later stage if the author so desired. No stone left unturned, or leaving me wanting (in a good way). I'm a big fan of series books, but the length of this, and the totality of the plot makes this a perfect stand alone.
The drama was good, but not over the top. The language didn't leave me feeling like I needed a thesaurus or dictionary to refer to.
After reading Power Exchange and Safeword, I didn't hesitate to buy this book. Even though it had a completely different feel, I was not disappointed.
I look forward to more from this author.
Recommended for those who enjoy m/m romance but prefer more character building and plot, with their sex scenes.
