π¨πΆβπ«οΈπ³ < my face as I read this book while the internet decided to take a break for half the day. Fine by me because wow. I had to make sure my door was closed after I finished. This book initially starts off with two best friends vacationing in Chile. Both women are my age (29) Emily & Kristen - white women who grew up in the Midwest. Unfortunately, death seems to play a huge role in their lives as they try to move past what happens. This left me thinking that Kristen was nuts from the very beginning but the ending ? Totally unexpected. While I wish it didnβt wrap up as nicely as it did - still a chilling, thrilling read.
