Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

4.0

I really enjoyed this book, it was unusual, full of sarcasm and very well written. I could imagine everything so well: the gnats, the microsoft geniuses and the comical moments in between. It was both funny and touching at the same time, and the letter/email format was perfect for the quick moving plot. Having so many different caracters' perspectives on a single event through their communications with one another made the plot very multi dimensional and interesting to the reader. When you think about it, the entire story is completely crazy, but the result is so well carried out that it feels totally believable, something you can relate to. To sum up: a very good read with the perfect amount of satire.
