It took almost half the book to really get into it, but then I was hooked. A half star was lost for me because of that and because it was hard to figure out the time jumps in the beginning. I loved the mystery and suspense without it being overly scary (though I did get creeped out several times). I also liked that there wasn’t any gore or graphic violence.
