The Soskas mentioned in a letter from #1 (which is printed in the back of the book) that they felt that Black Widow was always held back by being in the Avengers, and I couldn’t agree more. This is full-on Natasha, completely unfettered by anyone or anything outside of her own moral code, and it is glorious!
