Well done For the most part, thought it got a bit lost toward the end before picking back up to finish mostly well. The foot binding and Confucian patriarchy will always trigger me. Good enough story otherwise.

I liked the other two books I've ready by See better (Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane). Nonetheless, good enough.
