The Fix: A Carolina Connection Novel, Book one By Sylvie Stewart
⅘ stars

This is Sylvie Stewart’s very first debut novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Actually, I'm looking forward to reading the second book in this series

Carolina Collection Series can be read as standalones. I enjoy reading series in their proper order. But you can do as you wish!

What I absolutely love and adore about this, is book is the great humor. It had me literally laughing out loud!! We all know being a parent is tough. But being a single parent , at times… is even more challenging. But Sylvie Stewart brought such an amazing humor aspect to this story. Especially with everyday life and parenting issues with such brilliance! I love it!!

This is a wonderful book about family, life and love. It has real life issues and problems in it. The characters are witty, funny and even a little crude. I couldn't put it down , once I started reading it.

Laney ( Elaine) Monroe isn't particularly happy with her life. She didn't expect at 25 years old, being a single parent,Along with a boring job was in the future. But life ...sometimes, throws you a huge curve ball.

Nate Murphy has recently moved back to his hometown. To help out with his Dad's construction company. He is thrown for a loop when Lanie comes into the picture.

Together… can they make it work? Will Laney get freaked out and run?? Can Nate deal with her being a single parent?

You seriously have to read this book!! You will NOT disappointed in any way whatsoever!!

Sylvie Stewart's debut novel is phenomenal in every way. She writes beautifully! The characters are hilarious! It makes me wish they're real people and my friends!! She has always had a love for books! She Iives in North Carolina with her husband and their eight year old twins.
I can't not wait to read what happens in the second book. But if I had to guess.. it won't be the last we hear of Laney and Nate! Wonderful job!!
